We have an Annual Employee Awards program where we ask our employees to nominate their peers for eight award categories, from the “Rookie of the Year” to our “Agency Builder”. In 2020, 100% of our employees nominated as least one of their peers for an award (and wrote a total of 63 pages of commentary to support their nominations!)
Not only are we dedicated to improving the lives of our clients; we are also committed to ensuring our employees enjoy the time they spend at work. Keeping things fun is another essential element of our employee experience. In a typical year, we host an array of employee events including an Annual Holiday Party, HORAN Fundamental events, staff luncheons, monthly happy hours, etc. COVID forced us to get a little creative in 2020; we had daily staff trivia questions, virtual yoga classes, virtual happy hours and even a virtual visit from Fiona the Hippo!
As much as we give to our teams, we encourage them to give back to our community. We have dedicated staff-led committees to plan month-long fundraising activities for both the United Way and Artswave. In 2020, nearly 100% of our staff contributed to these causes through payroll deductions and one-time contributions.
